Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy continues to support the German export industry in the Covid-19 pandemic

The Federal Government extended the 5-point package of measures introduced to support the German export industry during the Covid-19 pandemic until 31.12.2021. Some of the measures adopted in July 2020 were originally due to expire at the end of June 2021.
Although the economic situation improved significantly during the past months, the export industry is still faced with challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Some companies just begin to feel the pressure with a time lag. Therefore, it is currently still important that the relief measures adopted in July 2020 remain in force in order to support the German exporters and their employees.
